How do I pursue a career in radio as an announcer without experience graduating next year?

In 2007 I will be graduating with a double degree in business and would like to pursue a career in broadcasting as a radio announcer. The only problem is I can not afford to go back to school like Specs Howard which is a school of broadcasting. I have applied to many radio stations without luck. I am unable to apply for an internship due to my major being in business and too late to change.
